Strong RPMF presence in British Athletics funding lists for 2016-17

RPMF has supported the majority of the 2016-17 British Athletes funded list

In the recently announced British Athletics 2016-17 funded athletes, athletes who have previously been funded by the RPMF provide a dominant presence.

75% of the Podium Olympic selection have been supported at some stage in their earlier careers.  Within this 86% of Women’s list are RPMF alumni.

Of the Relay squads 54% have been previously funded, with 71% of the Women’s squad plus all of the development athletes.

A terrific result for the RPMF but more importantly for these young athletes who we’ve been proud to help, support and nurture through they early years.

We wish everyone great success in 2016-17 and beyond.

The complete British Athletics funded list can be seen below.
